Chicken Shop shut down after filthy conditions discovered
A London restaurant was shut down by food safety officers last summer after mice droppings were found
on chopping boards in its kitchen
The popular chicken shop was forced to close when inspectors discovered a widespread rodent infestation, including in the kitchen & storage areas.
Because there was an “imminent risk to health”, the shop was closed by voluntary agreement & received a rating of 0.
The local Council’s food hygiene report restaurant showed evidence of flies at the premises when they inspected the restaurant. Mice droppings were found in various locations throughout the business.
